| Bio: | I'm a second-year mature Politics student at St.Edmund's College, Cambridge Uni. I have no clue about politics, I rarely get to read the paper everyday, but I still love it and seem to do okay. Oddly. I'm not posh, I didn't go to a private or grammar school and I don't have a college scarf. I also don't ride a bike. I can be a bit of a strange creature, I suppose, with a tendency to fall off the edge every now and then. Yet, not so messy nowadays. Which is good. I have no grammatical skills. I was at school when they didn't teach grammar, except in French class. I never got it then, either. But, I am a good speller. Oh, yes. My father tricked me into learning the times table when I was little by putting a sum of money at the bottom of each set to let me know what I would 'earn' when I could answer his sums correctly. It was a cruel trick because he never gave me the money and in my strop, I still didn't manage to unlearn them. He wasn't always an abusive father though. Now, saying that though, he did try to make me eat ricycles with extra sugar poured on them once. I don't write much of interest. I am introspective, a lot. Too much. I don't usually write in such short sentences, as I am doing now. I can't work out if my journal is friends only, in part, in full or not at all, so fuck it just read it if you want. I'm actually a great procrastinator. Right now i am meant to be reading The History of the Peloponnesian War by Thucydides...the Landmark edition, which is a very apt title. | |
